Edward J. Bullard Jr., is the founding partner of the Bullard Law Group, PLLC. Ed has over twenty (20) years of experience in sophisticated and complicated real estate and corporate matters including the disposition, leasing and financing of all types of real estate and businesses. Ed has successfully represented numerous chains of retailers, restaurants and franchises as well as small businesses in connection with their business, acquisition and leasing needs in New York City, Long Island, the Metropolitan Area as well as many other States, including California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. Ed also actively represents several real estate developers, having successfully represented them with their acquisition, financing and disposition of commercial properties, including build-to suit, owner occupied, multi-family, mixed use and self-storage properties.
Ed always seeks to take a practical approach to each transaction in an effort to “get the deal closed” expeditiously and cost effectively. Having represented both “landlords and tenants”, “borrowers and lenders” and “buyers and sellers”, Ed attempts to reach practical solutions without compromising his client’s rights or business goals. Ed’s clients consistently rely on Ed to resolve both business and legal issues that arise during the transactions. Ed has been recognized by Long Island Business News in its “Who’s Who in Commercial Real Estate” edition and is regularly recognized and recommended by other real estate professionals to assist with real estate and business transactions.
Ed graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, with degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1994 and was salutatorian of the School of Engineering. Ed was selected by the University to present a graduation speech at the School of Engineering Commencement Ceremony. Ed earned his law degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 1997, where he was a member of the Hofstra Law Review.
Ed has been married to his wife Arlene since 2000 and has three active children. Ed enjoys physical fitness and activities and regularly participates in numerous sports and activities, including basketball, football, golf, softball and skiing. Ed is also active in his home community of Hauppauge, New York, where he volunteers with several youth organizations and has coached numerous team sports with his children for more than ten (10) years.
